About this tool
How it works.
Twelve named colors to start with. Replace them with hex codes, paint names, or house colors: anything the browser recognises as a color is rendered as that color on the orb, and anything else gets a stable shade of its own. For team assignments, switch to Teams mode and the colors become the group names, so everyone is sorted and labeled in one draw.
Everything is editable. Replace the list with your own, weight an entry by adding x3 after it, or switch draw modes above the entry box. Nothing is saved to a server, so your list stays in this browser.

Tip
Paste hex codes rather than color names if you’re designing something, since the orb then reads back the exact hex and RGB values you’ll need to type in later.
